Snap Prototyping

Custom prototyping, designed around what you need

A small everyday piece or a technical part. Tell me the problem, and I design the solution and build the prototype until it fits.

Simple or technical, built to your need

Some jobs are a single small object. Others are a detailed part with moving pieces. Each one is designed for the person who asked for it.

Designed from a description

You explain the need and I design the piece that solves it.

Fitted to what already exists

A piece designed around the size of the object or space it has to fit.

Rebuilt or replaced

A piece that broke or is no longer sold, measured and made again.

Adjusted from your own model

A file you already have, corrected and made ready to produce.

What you bring and what you get

Start from whatever you have: a drawing, a photo, measurements, a broken part or only a problem.

Service
You bring
You get
Prototyping
A need, a problem or an idea
A part or product designed for you, with a physical prototype to test
3D Modeling
A sketch, a photo, measurements or an existing object
A 3D model, from a simple object to a detailed technical part, with its editable source file
Concept & Design Development
An idea for a product
Concept directions, then a resolved design with dimensions and fits
Rendering
A 3D model or a design in progress
Realistic images for reviews, catalogs and pitches
Making & 3D Printing
A problem to solve, a model of your own, or a product that needs several copies
The part designed or adjusted, then printed for you, as one piece or a small run

Large or heavy part? Send the size and what it has to carry, and I will tell you how it can be made.

Resize a part without redrawing it

Every model is built parametrically. Need a longer bracket, a wider tray or a bigger hole? Update the value and the model follows.

You receive the editable source file together with the model files.

How a project runs

  1. Brief

Tell me what you need. A sketch, a photo or measurements help, and a description is enough to start.

  2. Model

I build the 3D model and confirm the key dimensions with you.

  3. Review

For larger jobs you see renders or a test piece first, and we adjust.

  4. Prototype and deliver

I make the prototype or the part and check it against the design. You receive it, plus the model files and the editable source file if you want them.

What you can receive

Prototypes and printed parts

Made and checked against the design.

3D model files

Models ready to share, review and reuse.

Editable source file

The parametric file the model was built in.

Renders

Realistic images of the design, when the job needs them.
